Definition and classification of black paperboard:
Black paperboard is made by dyeing, coating or special pulping process, with high stiffness, light-shielding and decorative properties, and is widely used in packaging and printing processes.
There are two main production processes:
1. Add dye to the pulp to make the fiber itself black, and then make paper and calender.
2. Add dye directly to the pulp to make the fiber evenly colored inside and outside.

1. It adopts dyeing or coating process, with high stiffness and effective light-shielding, suitable for photosensitive products.
2. It can be made into different surface effects such as matte, gloss, texture, etc.
3. It has high stiffness, high compressive strength and tight structure, which is suitable for making high-end packaging boxes and book covers.
4. The surface of black paperboard is smooth, suitable for hot stamping, UV printing and laser engraving, which can improve the packaging grade.
